If you have wrists injuries, you may want to avoid some of the repetitive positions in a yoga class that put weight on the hands – particularly the sun salutation sequence that includes down dog and plank. This brief video takes you through an alternative sun salutation that doesn’t put weight on the hands or wrists. It does require a lot of strength in the shoulders and would not be appropriate if you have shoulder injuries.
